Performance Physical Therapy has had the privilege of helping people in the Sacramento area feel better for over 20 years! Our team delivers compassionate care with effective results, and we're looking for like minded people to join us! We love what we do, and we have as much fun as possible while doing it. We have two opportunities within our company fit for the right person. The first is a full-time professional start as a Patient Service Coordinator (PSC) and the second is a flexible part-time position as a Physical Therapy Aide. Which are you the perfect fit for? PSC

A normal day as a Patient Service Coordinator looks a lot like this:
•Building relationships with our patients and helping them schedule their appointments
•Answering a multi-line, high volume telephone, forwarding calls and taking messages
•Greeting and scheduling patients
•Preparing daily deposits
•Verification of insurance / authorization maintenance
•Collection of patient copays
•Monitoring and maintaining supply inventory
•Printing and filing of daily notes
•Performing miscellaneous clerical duties as assigned

Qualifications:
•Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
•Reception or Front Office experience is preferred but not required
•Great customer service skills
•Familiarity with computers and ability to operate basic software
•Punctuality and reliability
•Personality!

Physical Therapy Aide

A day in the life of a Physical Therapy Aide looks a little like this: 
•Greet patients with an inviting and comforting demeanor.
•Prepare treatment rooms and patients for treatment
•Assist Therapists with patients’ treatment perform modalities including: applying heat packs; applying ice packs; paraffin dips; fluidotherapy; ultra sound; and electrical stimulation.
•Monitor the clinic floor: assist patients onto exercise equipment, observe and maintain gym environment.
•Ensures patient safety with proper use of equipment and exercise routines.
•Maintain patient confidentiality and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
•Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
•Provide equipment and supplies by sterilizing and delivering equipment and said supplies to treatment area; positioning equipment for therapist access; positioning patient on equipment.
•Maintaining physical therapy supply inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipate the needed supplies; place and expedite orders for supplies with Lead Aide.
•Serve and protect the clinic by adhering to professional standards, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements such as HIPPA laws.
•Assisting the front office staff in patient services including: answering phones, scheduling patients, taking payment, filing clinic documents and assist in answering clinic related questions
•Other duties as assigned in down time or during cancellations

Qualifications:
•A passion to help others achieve their goals
•Ability to work well with others and maintain a positive attitude
•Multi-tasking superstar
•Full-time or part-time, however must be able to work 8 hour shifts
•Some lifting may be required, ability to lift 20 lbs
•High school diploma or equivalent

Keep in mind, some travel may be required between locations.
